MG Midget  1500 5 speed conversion

Do Your Own

I bought 10 castings. I have used one myself and kept another as a drill jig, so I have 8 castings left.  The pattern cost me £150. Each casting cost £20. So if I get £40 each (plus carriage but no vat) I am happy. The drilling can be done using the MG Midget and Sierra bellhousings as drill jigs, thus ensuring perfect  alignment. The lathe work is easy and I have an easy to follow drawing. I would  do the lathe work for £10 but I would prefer not to have to touch them. So if  anyone wants a casting, first come, first served.

I also have the drawing for the clutch slave cylinder and details of how to make the propshaft.

Drawing for gearbox mounting will follow. It’s easy to fabricate.

Here is one Bob Tooke prepared earlier... Multi point Fuel Injection too. Nice. Really nice.
